C H says
Pros: Very cheap commission (though there are other fees such as market data feed), cheap interest rate for marginal trades, fast. Cons: Not-easy-to-use GUI, confusing report, troublesome report (having to take time to generate it on-the-fly. I’d rather getting static monthly reports), troublesome login process that makes it a pain to login (downloading Java webstart GUI; enter userID/pwd as well as codes by refering to a code card). I am very reluctant to login, and only force myself to do so when I see potential opportunities.

Interactive Brokers is really best for the frequent trader. The commissions are low but there are fees for inactivity, IRAs, data, etc. and customer service isn’t the best.
Samuel Phillips says
Sure they’ll say it’s 0.70 but their customer service is awful. And then they have all those hidden fees – so complicated, better read the fine print.
Kevin Coulard says
Their customer service is not good – you get what you pay for I guess. They’re slow and that ended up costing me $$$. I am considering switching even if I know I’ll have to pay more. In the long run, I am not saving any money.
Joe Maher says
Great trading system, real time, easy order entry and the lowest price around. Half a cent for stocks and $.70 per option period.
