The following chart presents the S&P 500 futures live for today. A 5-day and 21-day (there are typically 21 trading days in one calendar month) version are also included for perspective. The charts use one minute data (two minute data is used for the 21 trading day chart) and provide prices as long as the S&P 500 futures contract is open for trading. Trading opens Sunday through Thursday at 6:00 p.m. EST and closes Monday through Friday at 5:00 p.m. EST with a brief trading halt from 4:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST.
