Wall Street is a street in the city of Manhattan, New York where several major brokerage firms and stock exchanges are located. Likely the most well known resisdent of Wall Street is the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The NYSE is located on the corner of Wall Street and Broad.
Below (left) is a June 2003 picture of the New York Stock Exchange taken looking down Broad Street from the steps of Federal Hall (below right) which is located on Wall Street.
